Will Corujo

 

 A brilliant violinist and songwriter, Guillermo (Will) Corujo Dominguez was born in Versallez, province of Matanzas,Cuba in1971. Raised in an artistic home; Corujo began his study of music at 6 years old. Studied violin and piano and obtained a Masters degree at the National Art School in Havana.

 

 After many years working as a violin teacher and as a Soloist in the Symphonic Orquestra of Matanzas, he set out to share his talent and love of music with the world.

 Currently settled in Miami, Florida where he founder The Latin Divos, featuring Ernesto Cabrera, Fernando Gonzalez and Will Corujo as director and founder, is a Latin-pop-opera trio which performs diverse repertoire from opera to some of the all-time greatest songs with Latin flavor. In addition,  the Violin and Sax- played by Will, makes them unique in the music genre as The New Latin-Pop-Opera with great recognition from audiences in the North and South American regions and abroad. Their repertoire includes the all time hits sang in Italian, English, Spanish and French that are sure to be a delightful performance.

 

 With his company “WillCorujo Entertainment. Inc” he provides professional musical coverage for all kind of private events. Violinist, singer, musical director, songwriter, producer and music teacher, his musical talent range from a wide variety of professional skills and musical instruments such as violin, viola, electric violin, guitar, mandolin, saxophones, keyboards, percussion and vocal.

 

 Among his many achievements, Corujo has been winner of national and international competitions and has been featured on Latin Television, radio, as well as performed with musical legends. While living in Spain, Corujo obtained a University degree as a violinist, at the Superior Music Institute in Santiago de Compostela.

 

 Worked as a violin teacher and as a Soloist in the Leon and Valladolid Symphonic Orchestra, Spain. Corujo also played with Spain most diverse and renowned musicians ranging in styles from Classical, Latin Rhythms, Jazz, Pop, Latin Rock, including members of the Moscow Orchestra.

 

 Will Corujo is the author of hundreds of songs, some of them featured in his live Acoustic Concerts for his fans. Followed by many, his music's been heard in television, radio and internationally.

 

 

 He has co-produced and launched many singles, and music videos. His most recent album “TravelFaster” 2012 features themes of Jazz-Fusion, Funk, and Latin Jazz-Fusion, produced by the great Cuban musician Julio Montalvo (JM Records Label). 

 

 Corujo was the musical director and member of the musical band Cafe Quijano; released on the Warner Music Label; with whom he toured America and Europe sharing stages with music legends, and honoured with multiples nomination by the US Latin Grammy Award.

 

 Worked with prestigious record labels and producers such as Emilio Estefan, Alejandro Jaen among others. He has played and recorded with some of the finest musicians, and in musical scores for films, including an opportunity to Record with Franco de vita and Orishas on Gourmet album that was nominate on American grammys, Orishas tour 2016, be the first violin of the Spanish singer David Bisbal during his Europe Tour Concert in 2011, and who’s Double CD and DVD from this Concerts “Una Noche en el Teatro Real” received a US Latin Grammy Award in 2012.

 

 Will Corujo had the honour to perform as a special guess violinist, at the annual beauty contest “Miss Spain” 2011, Panama National Theatre in 2009 and Rumania's Earth Festival in 2008.

 

 Founder of the duet “Word and Music” which whom he toured Europe, and won the Valencia contest “Picu” on TV Channel 9 in Spain. First Place in the “Song Festival” of Medina de Campo (Festiver), with his song “Tu Boquita de Melon” in 2006. Winner of the award “Sirenita de Plata” in Benidorm International Song Festival 2005 in Spain, and the Best Artist of the Valencian Community. First Place winner of the “Jazz Casino Mediterranean Festival” in 2004. Finalist of the Festival “Luna de Valencia” in Spain 2003.

 

 Collaborated with the great singer Armando Manzanero in the making of the album “Duetos 2” winning a Latin Grammy Award in the category of “Best Pop Vocal” in 2001 and finalist of the musical Cuban Contest “OTI” 1992. Winner of First Place and the prize of “ Popularity” in the “Young Talents Festival” of Matanzas City, Cuba 1991.
